Why FACTA?
The Fabricated Access Covers Trade Association (FACTA) was formed in 1995 by manufacturers of fabricated access covers at that time. The formation of the association came about when in 1994 the European standard EN124 was widely being specified throughout the industry. It became clear very quickly that the vehicle loadings were not suitable for the manufacture of fabricated access covers and thus a specification was required.

Today FACTA comprises of the leading manufacturers of fabricated access covers within the industry and has technical representation on all the European and British standards associated with access cover manufacture.

Selecting a product from a company that bears the FACTA logo ensures the company has in place all the necessary manufacturing controls and fully understands the requirements of the specification and standards in place today.

FACTA also has a very informative and reliable knowledgebase which can be called upon to answer any technical enquiry.

Membership details

Full member - Applies to a manufacturer of Fabricated Access Covers and Frames, responsible for the design, manufacture, Inspection and testing

Associate Member - Applies to a company involved in supporting the industry supplying products that have a significant relevance to the performance of the Access Cover and also applying to a company involved in the stocking and distribution of Fabricated Access Covers and Frames.
